WHAT’S NEW IN PARIS!
Smoking is out!
Who would have believed it? After losing their beret, their striped T-shirts, their baguette under the arm and their necklaces of garlic, the French were portrayed with a smoking cigarette hanging out of their mouths. It was part of the scandal: the French smoked, drank and drove madly and still had one of the highest life expectancies in the world. Well, after clamping down on drinking & driving, now comes the law which forbids smoking in all public areas: we’ll become immortal!
The Hall of Mirrors at Versailles Palace

After three years of meticulous refurbishment, the Hall of Mirrors glitters with renewed splendour after careful restoration of the paintings by Charles le Brun, precautious cleaning of the marble, bronze and gilded elements and the repair and restoration of all the mirrors. This hall, which measures 73 meters long (over 200 feet) with ceilings at height of 12 meters (36 feet), features on UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites.
The International Diplomatic Academy:
a new venue for meetings and gala dinners

Located in the prestigious avenue Hoche, between the Arc de Triomphe and the Monceau Park, this beautiful venue was created in 1926 by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs to help relations as a meeting place for ambassadors to develop international projects. Today, owned by the Aga Khan, it opens up to private meetings or high calibre gala dinners. The building has meeting rooms, breakout rooms and an entirely refurbished ballroom that we invite you to discover.
